2nd International Workshop on Medical Radioisotopes Supply

The DOE Isotope Program (DOE IP) is proud to co-organize the upcoming 2nd International Workshop on Medical Radioisotopes Supply alongside the Nuclear Energy Agency and the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre. The workshop will be held in Paris, France, on October 24-25, 2024. 

At this important event, governmental decision makers, private sector representatives, health organizations and researchers will gather to chart the development of secure supply chains for conventional and innovative nuclear radioisotopes in the medical field. Key topics are to include understanding the role and challenges of innovative medical radioisotopes like lutetium-177 and actinium-225, strengthening the medical radioisotope supply chain’s resiliency through monitoring supply and demand, and addressing critical infrastructure needs across medical systems. The DOE IP is committed to supporting the continued development of medical radioisotopes and look forward to the innovative ideas and collaborations that will emerge from this workshop.
