The DOE IRP Annual Customer Survey: Your Five-Year Isotope Needs

You are invited to participate in IRP's annual customer survey to share your anticipated isotope product needs over the next five years.   

This annual survey offers a crucial opportunity to directly inform the Office of Isotope R&D and Production's strategic planning and resource prioritization. Your input on future market demand is essential for strengthening our domestic supply chains, driving innovation, and ensuring the U.S. continues to meet critical isotope needs across all sectors.  The survey will ask for details regarding the types of isotopes needed, anticipated quantities, timeframe for these needs, and your confidence in these projections, along with the priority of these requirements for your operations. 

We strongly encourage you to contribute your valuable insights by completing the survey via the link below. Survey response is intended to take no more than 10-15 minutes. Feedback is requested by March 6, 2026. All information provided in this survey will be treated as BUSINESS SENSITIVE and handled with the utmost confidentiality. It is understood that the information shared represents hypothetical needs and does not constitute a commitment by any customer. We greatly appreciate your cooperation.  

PLEASE NOTE that this survey should be completed by businesses, non-for-profit organizations, and non-federal institutions. It is NOT to be completed by federal agencies or national laboratories whose future isotope needs are already captured in the DOE IRP’s biannual Federal Isotope Survey.
