Student Bursaries Available for Attending Radiochemistry-Related Symposia

Financial Assistance: Funds have become available from the DOE Office of Science Isotope Program to help offset costs for students/trainees to attend selected radiochemistry-related symposia at Pacifichem 2015. Those symposia are: #363, Isotope production-Providing Important Materials for Research and Applications; #215, Chemistry of Molecular Imaging, and #11, Chemistry for Development of Theranostic Radiopharmaceuticals. The funds will be provided as bursaries of $1,000 per student award. The bursaries will be distributed to awardees after submission of copies of expense receipts from the meeting.

Eligibility: Financial assistance is available to those who are undergraduate students, graduate students, or Postdoctoral Fellows during the time of the Pacifichem 2015 meeting. Preference will be given to students/trainees from U.S. institutions.

Requirements: Applicants must provide: (1) a resume or curriculum vitae, (2) a letter from your supervisor indicating your status as a student or Postdoctoral Fellow at the time of the meeting, and that you will be able to attend the meeting if given the award, and (3) a brief statement of why you want to attend the symposia and how the bursary will help you attend.
